Blow your mind curry! Ordered takeout after a long day at work. Used the yelp app and it went smoothly. Both plates were flavorful and a repeat menu item. Service was fast but I preordered. Ambiance was busy. It was a good sign as it was my first time ordering.

I LOVE Japanese curry! It brings back so many nostalgic memories of my trips to Japan. Did you know it's one of Japan's most beloved comfort meals? The moment I stepped in Tokyo Katsu Curry, I felt like I was back in Japan! The beautiful decor, friendly service, and intimate seating create a truly authentic experience. Their star attraction is their house-made curry. Crafted from an exclusive selection of fresh vegetables, ripe fruits, and a custom blend of spices. Each batch is simmered for over 24 hours, creating a symphony of taste that captures the essence of Japan. I highly recommend trying their Chicken Katsu Curry, Omelette Pork Sausage Curry, and House Special Curry Ramen! I love drenching my rice in the curry and creating the perfect bite with some fukujinzuke (Japanese pickles), a slice of the crispy chicken katsu or a combination of the omelette and pork sausage -- Japanese pork sausage is one of my all-time favorites! And I loved that the House Special Curry Ramen includes a boiled egg, corn, and chicken! It was absolutely delicious! Be sure to visit Tokyo Katsu Curry if you're ever in the mood for some amazing Japanese curry!

I've been on the hunt for a go to curry restaurant ever since Curry House closed. Here's what we ordered... Omelette and tonkatu curry: Very tasty Mixed vegetable curry: Big pieces of potatoes, carrots and onions just the way I like it Side order of potato croquette: I've had better, but it was fine The restaurant is on the small side, but it has some character. Food takes time for it to come out, so bring your patience. My hunt continues, but I wouldn't hesitate to go back again.

Truly a delightful experience and I'm already looking forward to coming back! I've had it bookmarked for a bit and was super excited when we happened to drive by it when we were in Costa Mesa. Needless to say, we had to stop by and I'm glad we did! Inside is very cozy, with not too many seatings available. I'd estimate about 20-25 max for seating? So I'd imagine it can get pretty packed. We're extremely lucky we went during an off time so there was no wait at all and we were seated quick upon entering. The person who took our order was very friendly and was quick to help us! Now, the food. Oh my, the food was absolutely amazing. I really enjoyed the curry flavor here and while I did get no spicy, there was still so much flavor in it! I was really surprised at the size of their regular and didn't think I'd finish it but I did and I was full for the rest of the day! I also ordered a side of corn (extra $1.50) just because I love corn and it was sweet! OMELETTE CHICKEN KATSU CURRY: the breading on the chicken was so crispy! I was so surprised when I bit into it and the breading did not fall apart either. It paired very well with the curry. The omelette is a must for me whenever I get Japanese curry and this also didn't disappoint. PORK KATSU CURRY: my bf got this and he also enjoyed it. I tried a bit of his Katsu and I really loved how tender the pork was, and again the breading was on point. Pricing was pretty fair imo. For the size of the plates, I'd say it was definitely worth it! Overall we really enjoyed the curry here and we hope to be back soon!
